The Candis story so far…
In 1962 Joseph K Douglas setup the Cancer and Polio research Fund following lossing friends to cancer. Twenty-four thousand members entered the particular weekly football pool organised by Newhall Publications’ forerunner Pembroke Promotions, which supported medical analysis using normal donations.
